For local urban lines, bus routes, and parking information, plan your trip and purchase digital tickets via the official local public transport company website: SGM Lecce Official Website.
Accommodation & booking advice
Because the Museo Castromediano is close to both the train station and the southwestern gate of the old town, consider these areas for your stay:
- Historic Center (Centro Storico): Ideal to be within walking distance of Lecce’s Baroque architecture, restaurants, and sights.
- Station / Viale Gallipoli Area: Best for logistical convenience — just a few minutes' walk from the station and the venue.
Important: September is high season in Salento. Accommodation fills quickly; book hotels or B&Bs well in advance to secure better rates and availability.
Social event
Social Dinner: The conference social dinner will take place on October 1st. It will feature a fixed-price menu showcasing traditional Salento cuisine. Details on menu options and reservations will be provided soon.
